The Teacher
There are times when a teacher is impacted by what he has come to understand through study and truths revealed, that his internal mechanisms become so stirred that he can not wait to drive home the points of interest realized. If this actuality resonates within one who is a teacher, he knows the deep calling that drives him to bring others the imbedded truths that have impregnated his very soul.
The process of being immersed in creative activity is the desire of true educators who possess a God-given gift to pull out rather than push down. I believe these 21st Century teachers are being stirred by the Creator with messages of empowerment. A true teacher is designed in such a way as to take that which is suppressed within each student, shedding light on them, in order to awaken that student's heart to new dimensions of Godly imagination. Programmed curriculums that steer creativity away from faith are ineffective in bringing about lasting change.
The Bible teaches that without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore, faith is the spiritual lens that gives us access into the reality of the unseen world which heaven brings to earth, thereby unlocking the unknown within each of us.
In the heart of every human being there is an anointing yet to be realized, as their stagnated past is washed clean by the blood and the present reality of the presence of the Divine.
The call of God for STP is to raise up leaders and teachers who recognize that the students they have responsibility over have been created in the image of God. These students are the Creator's glorious design, pre-packaged with purpose not yet revealed. 21st Century leaders and teachers must not only teach "Bible" or "Curriculum" or "Disciplines" or their "latest revelation." They must never forget who they are teaching. God's creation, His children, who do not yet know what they know!

Diploma in Practical Theology of Ministry: A two-year, 96-hr classroom program, (eight month trimesters) at 4 hrs per month, 32 hrs per trimester. Three trimesters are necessary for a diploma.
First 8 month block begins Sept. 27, 2008. (Please see the last page of this document for the School Calendar.)
The Practical Theology of Ministry Diploma is equivalent to an Associate's Diploma. If a diploma is not desired, any of the classes offered at Summit may be attended. A certificate of achievement will be given for each completed subject. Records will be kept of the teaching units attained in case the student desires to apply them towards a diploma in the future.
