Throughout history, it has been proven that we have taken much from the Native Americans and that they have suffered greatly. I have used the opportunity God has given me to develop deep relationship with the Navajo, and I have felt the pain, the plight and the horrible devastation of these men, women and children. They are a people without hope and consequently, without a future.
It is my desire to give back to the Navajo people that which has been taken from them. I feel that I have been given so much like yourself. The realization of all we have contradicts the poverty and destitution that surrounds us and, for me, there is a great sense of wanting to give back. I believe that hope can be restored when a people are able to become productive and self-sufficient. To this end, I want to build a facility where the people of the Great Navajo Nation can receive training in the form of job and life skills, a place where hope resides and where a future is born.
