It is said that darkness is the absence of Light. If God inhabits the praises of His people, then as we enter into that place of unbroken praise, centered in our Lord, we bring His light to a world in need. Light floods the places of darkness in our own lives, as we develop a vibrant intimate relationship with our creator. As we learn to live holistic lives before God we can then effectually change the world we live in, and our sphere of influence grows exponentially. This is what COUP is all about.
Through our mandate of being a Center Of Unbroken Praise, regardless of what we see around us, we effectually pull down the strongholds of the enemy who would desire to hold us captive to all that hinders us from accomplishing God's purposes in our lives. As our hearts are continually filled with praise our lives are changed and we are able to bring that change to others through relationships. We then create an atmosphere for God to work, bringing wholeness and fulfillment. That is the greatest COUP imaginable. A coup is defined as a sudden unconstitutional overthrow of a government. One by one, we purpose to love our neighbor as we learn to love our selves, and in doing so strongholds of the enemy will be torn down. That is a COUP we can shout about!!
As we acknowledge that we are all in need, we are better able to deal with the issues at hand in our lives. COUP purposes to be a community of believes where gaps are bridged and restoration comes in the midst of relationship. We are a loving multiracial, multicultural family comprised of all ages.
As God affects us, we will affect our region and the nation.

C.O.U.P. Vision Statement:
Deuteronomy 4:9,10
Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.
Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me, ‘Assemble the people to Me, that I may let them hear My words so they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.’
